1. Hammerfit-45 (HIIT) Burns many Calories in a Short Amounts of Time

You can burn calories fast with High Intensity Inteval Training otherwise known as HIIT training.

Studies compared the calories burned during 30 mins each of HIIT, weight training, running and biking.

Researchers found that HIIT burned 25–30% more calories than all other forms of exercise.

This meant that the participants were only exercising for a third of the time the running and biking groups were.

This is because HIIT allows you to burn similiar amounts of calories, but spending less time exercising.

2. Your Metabolic Rate Is Increased Hours After Exercise

One of the many ways HIIT helps to burn calories actually comes after you have finished exercising.

Studies have shown HIIT has the ability to increase your metabolic rate for hours after exercise.

Similiar studies found to shift the body’s metabolism toward using fat for energy rather than carbs HIIT was very effective.

Another study showed that only two minutes of HIIT in the form of sprints increased metabolism over 24 hours as much as 30 minutes of running.

3. It Can Help To Lose Fat

Studies have shown that HIIT can help with fat loss.

A study found that people participating in HIIT three times per week for 20 minutes per session lost 2 kgs, of body fat in 12 weeks — without any dietary changes.

Other studies indicate that body fat can be lost with HIIT, despite the relatively low time commitment.

Like other forms of exercise, HIIT is probably most effective in losing fat for those who are overweight or obese.

4. You Might Gain Muscle Participating in Hammerfit-45

Further to helping with fat loss, HIIT can help increase muscle mass.

However, the gain in muscle mass is usually in the muscles being used the most, often the trunk and legs.

It’s also important to note that increases in muscle mass are likely to occur in individuals who were less active beforehand.

Also note some research in participants has failed to show higher muscle mass after HIIT programs which is not a bad thing either as many females are not looking to increase muscle mass.

5. It Can Reduce Heart Rate and Blood Pressure

Much research indicates that HIIT training it can reduce heart rate & Blood pressure in overweight and obese individuals.

A study found that 8 weeks of HIIT training on a stationary bike decreased blood pressure as much as continuous endurance training in adults with high blood pressure.

In this study, the endurance training group exercised four days per week for 30 minutes per day, but the HIIT group only exercised three times per week for 20 minutes per day.

Some researchers have found that HIIT may even reduce blood pressure more than the frequently recommended moderate-intensity exercise.

6. Blood Sugar Can Be Reduced by Hammerfit-45 Classes

Blood sugar can be reduced by HIIT programs lasting less than 12 weeks.

A summary of 50 different studies found that not only does HIIT lessen blood sugar levels, but it also improves insulin resistance more than continuous exercise.

Based on this study, it is possible that high-intensity exercise is particularly beneficial for those at risk for type 2 diabetes.

In fact, some experiments specifically in individuals with type 2 diabetes have demonstrated the effectiveness of HIIT for improving blood sugar.
